Interesting discovery of an asteroid inside the orbit of Venus and the possibility of more there.

Perhaps there is something in the reports in 1878 by Watson and Swift of objects observed during an eclipse or Le Verrier’s Vulcan? But I doubt with the equipment they used back then they would have spotted the subject of the above paper.
