    Hi everyone. There is a bright supernova in M82. SN 2014J was discovered at Mill Hill. Here’s my image from last night. It is still brightening.

    And here is an image from Tom Boles on 23rd – 16 x 60s stacked. C14 f11. 21:55 to 22:15

    The SN has continued to brighten but it is slowing down and is probably near maximum now at V=10.75.
