I enjoyed reading this paper on ArXiv by Alessandro De Angelis, Professor of Experimental Physics at the University of Padova: https://arxiv.org/pdf/2204.04001.pdf

He reproduces, and comments upon, a poem by an unknown author (who could be Galileo) about the 1604 SN. A very interesting read!

I read the poem and found it very interesting. That decade was an important one for astronomy. As an aside my old school (Henley Grammar) was founded in 1604.
