How to make a correction to observations submitted to the BAAVSS Database?

Hi All,

I have submitted erroneous photometry for AT 2024lwu a few days ago, as I have failed to assure that my photometry ensemble stretches sufficiently beyond the target’s magnitude. Is there any way I can delete the observations submitted, so I could submit correct measurements?

Suggest you drop Andy Wilson an email, Max. His email is in the VSS Circular.

Yes you can.

Use the “Bulk Edit Live Observations” button on the database home page. Then Filter for your bad observations. Then, you will be able to update their status as Deleted. See attached.

Ian, thanks for pointing Max in the right direction.
As far as possible the webpages are designed so users can edit and delete observations themselves. There can be occasions where a more complex edit/delete is needed, and I can help with those.
