On 2020-05-20 in his post at https://britastro.org/node/22216 David Strange asked Has anyone succeeded in imaging the jet in 3C273? and suggested that it might be visible in the image he posted. In my opinion the jet is probably there and not just a noise artifact but it is far from obvious.
My observatory has been inaccessible since mid-February but Kevin Hills, who has a robotic observatory on my land, very kindly took an image for me. It was an 83-minute exposure on his 0.5m Newtonian fitted with a FLI camera. The jet is very clearly visible in the portion of his image which appears below..

Convincing to me. It is faintly visible on the DSS plate that I am currently browsing on Aladin. The PA and extent of the jet match nicely in the two images.
