    Dear Friends:

Just to announce that Orion Telescopes and Binoculars of Watsonville, CA is regrettably going out of business taking down with it Meade Instruments and Coronado solar telescopes. This was announced in July as noted in the announcements below. And they are now auctioning off its remaining inventory of binocs, scope OTAs, mounts , astrocameras and even warehouse stuff such as forklifts and pallets, etc. Bids will be taken starting Jan. 6 and ending Jan. 9. Not sure how those who do not live in the SF Bay Area will get this stuff, but this may be a great opportunity for those who do live here to maybe get some stuff at a discount.
Here are the details and inventory of stuff being sold off for all those interested. Check the notes from Dylan O’Donnell in Australia below:

    and

    Orion / Meade / Coronado Auction: https://www.bidspotter.com/en-us/auction-catalogues/rabin/catalogue-id-rabin10237

Honestly, I have enough stuff and do not have need for more. But maybe others are salivating to brng more stuff into their garages so here is an opportunity.
    Best of luck!

I suggest reading this thread on the Solarchat forum before placing a bid:

In particular, the comments from Stephen ‘solarchat’.
