I started observing under Middlesex skies with a small reflecting telescope in 1997. Like many others I upgraded to a Meade SCT LX200 Classic 10" nearly twenty years ago. This remains my main telescope . After some repairs, it's now permanently mounted in my roll-off roof observatory in the Scottish Lowlands where I now live. I'm currently learning field deep sky imaging through a 60mm refractor piggy backed on the SCT and hope to image galaxies through the 250mm in due course. While I am keen on astro-imaging I enjoy visual which is just about feasible from my semi-rural location.
