Star trail from Harlech, North Wales from last night. Canon 6D with Samyang 14mm lens at f/4, ISO 640, 15 second exposures with a 1 second gap, for 7 hours (1576 subs) then the batteries then died; no filters. Stacked with Startrails.de (http://www.startrails.de/html/software.html), minor adjustments of brightness and contrast only.
I’d love to live under these dark skies. The forecast for the rest of the week doesn’t look good though.
That’s a really nice image. You obviously had very good skies there. The startrails software is very good and saves a lot of time when making pictures such as this.
