About this image

A quick look at Z Cam.  No change in magnitude since my last observation on 27th March 2020 or that of 1st September 2019.  So in total it has now been at 'stanstill' for 822 days, since October 2018.

I've only been imaging Z Cam since 2019 so I've never seen it change(!)...looking forward to it's next outburst.

A nice article by Gary Poyner on Z Cam stars appeared in the December 2020 BAA Journal on page 55.

The image above covers 35 x 14 arc minutes with north to the left and includes some nice background galaxies. Z Cam is identified by the tick marks.
