About this image

An opportunity too good to miss with a patch of clear sky in the right place at the right time.  Two pieces of cotton where stretched at right angles across the Tamron 500mm mirror-lens to give the diffraction spikes to 'enhance' the view.

See Nick Hewitt's observation from yesterday for comparison.
