    This comet is proving elusive to me.

    I have seen it twice through binoculars, but. Every time I try and take an image. The clouds return.

    I have also been un-successful in making an observation without optical aid.

    It was very nice, to finally put some names to faces, and say hello. It was also good to catch up with your goodself.

    The lectures were all high quality, though I found a couple difficult to get my head around. Stewart’s talk was very good.

    I was setting up in Macclesfield, and looking South I saw a bright flash, with a visible tail. The fireball was visible close to the constellation Aquila.

    I thought at first it was a Perseid but the angle was all wrong.

    I  agree about the Hubble Palette. I have never liked the way it’s used to enhance digital images.  I am not a fan of Pixinsight software ether.

    I have seen to many times, images that are very good, and took time and effort to capture. Spoilt by over processing, and sharpening. 

    I think most people want a pretty pictuer at the end off the day. But I’d rather see a more natural looking image that has valuable information added.
